FC Nordsjaelland and eye4TALENT has agreed on a partnership focusing on testing a new and innovative talent development platform. The platform will ensure a more effective, quality controlled and accelerated talent development in the club.
Sports Manager, Jan Laursen pronounces:
– Talent development is a very important area and focus for us in FCN. Over the past years we have invested a lot of money and resources in exactly that area and we have also produced several good players and our youth teams are among the top rankings every year. Obviously we want to continue this trend.
We have always been a club known for our innovative mind-set and that is also why we see this as a natural way to keep on developing our young talents, says Jan Laursen.
In cooperation with eye4TALENT we will develop a FCN Player Universe, based on the platform that eye4TALENT delivers. Through the platform our players will be able to access their development plan online by using mobile tablets or computers. They will be able to analyze their performance after each training and match and to communicate with their coaches using a feedback feature.
In order to be capable of creating their own development plans the players will also be able to catch up on knowledge about playing style, physiotherapy, cost, technical details and mental training.
– In FC Nordsjaelland it is very important that the players are willing to take ownership of their own learning. We believe that in this way they will be even more prepared to learn in order to develop. This mind-set is a central part of eye4TALENT’s DNA and their talent development platform will support our players’ ownership for learning. The platform will also enhance the possibilities for our coaches and managers to provide feedback for the players, Jan Laursen continues.
In cooperation with eye4TALENT, FCN has already tested several of the features in the platform on some of the youth players within the club. It is expected that there will be regularly added even more opportunities to the universe thus, the development of the club’s talent is always innovative and appropriate to the club’s values.
In the work of scouting after new players FCN will also benefit on the online digital scouting solution within the eye4TALENT platform. This will provide the club with a unique and bigger picture of scouted players. For the coach and scouts of the club it will also be easy to access and share knowledge.
